Privacy Policy
Short version: Ringside collects no personal data at all. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Everything the app does happens on your device, and your data is never sent to us or anyone else.
Who we are
Ringside for K.O. II ("the app") is a companion app for the Teenage Engineering EP-133 K.O. II — you plug the device into your phone, iPad or Mac and the app shows, and can safely change, the project settings the device's small screen hides. It is published by DEESTECH HOLDINGS LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles information — the short answer is that it does not collect any.
Information we collect
None. Ringside does not collect, store or transmit any personal information. It has no user accounts, no sign-in, no email capture, and no analytics or advertising SDKs.
Everything stays on your device
Ringside talks to your K.O. II directly over the USB connection. Everything it reads from the device — project data, pad settings, backups — stays on your device using the operating system's own storage. We cannot see any of it, and it never leaves your device unless you choose to share a backup file.
Backups & sharing
When you create a backup it is saved locally on your device. If you choose to share a backup, that file is handled by your device's own share sheet and whatever app or service you send it to. That action is entirely under your control.
Network use
Ringside does not need the internet to do its job. The only time the network is used is to complete the one-time in-app purchase (Ringside Pro) and restore it — handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play, under their own privacy policies. We never receive your payment details.
Data we share
We share nothing, because we collect nothing. There are no third parties, no data brokers and no advertising networks involved.
Children
Ringside does not collect data from anyone, including children. It contains no ads and no tracking.
Security
Because your data never leaves your device, there is nothing in transit for us to protect. Your data is protected by your device's own security.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how the app handles information, we will update this page and revise the effective date above.
